Request: The Traveller has sent a booking request to the Owner for a specific period. The Owner now has 48 hours to accept the request before it expires. No payments have been made yet, and the booking is not considered confirmed. Either party can cancel the booking request at this stage without penalty.
Accepted: The Owner has accepted the booking request for a specific period. The Traveller now has 72 hours to confirm the booking by paying the first instalment. If no payment is made within 72 hours, the booking will expire. No payments have been made yet, and the booking is not considered confirmed. Either party can cancel the booking request at this stage without penalty.
Expired: The Traveller has not paid within 72 hours, and the booking request has now expired. The Traveller can send another request for the same vehicle. The Owner will need to accept the request again before the Traveller can pay to confirm the booking.
Declined: The Owner has indicated that they cannot accept a booking for specific dates by declining the request. The Traveller cannot pay to confirm the booking.
Confirmed: The Traveller has paid the first instalment and thereby confirmed the booking. If either party cancels the booking, cancellation fees will apply.
Cancelled: The booking was cancelled by either the Owner or Traveller. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the circumstances surrounding the cancellation.
Cancelled (Automatically): The booking was cancelled automatically by the system. This may have happened for one of the following reasons
- The Owner did not accept the booking request within 48 hours
- The Traveller did not qualify for Goboony insurance
