In this article, you’ll learn how to adjust dates, when and how changes can be made, and what steps both Owners and Travellers need to take to update their booking details.
As an Owner, you cannot change the booking dates yourself. The Traveller must make any date adjustments.
Before the booking is confirmed
- The Traveller can modify the start or end date by selecting "Edit Dates" on their dashboard.
- They must send you an updated request via the messaging service.
- Once you agree to the new details, accept the request as usual. Any changes in hires or insurance costs will be updated automatically.
After the booking is confirmed
- The Traveller can request a date change via the booking dashboard.
- You will have 48 hours to respond.
- Accepting their request will automatically update the booking dates.
- Declining or not responding within 48 hours means the booking dates remain unchanged.
- If the Traveller still wishes to change the dates, they must submit a new date change request.
