There are a number of important things to note before the Traveller sets off with your motorhome:
Maintenance of the vehicle:
- The motorhome is fully fuelled and the tyres are checked
- The household appliances are in good condition
- The motorhome has been cleaned thoroughly
Arrangements for the handover:
- Agree on the time and place of handover and exchange your contact details if not already done
- Print out the GoForm to go through for the handover
Special agreements:
- If you have made individual arrangements with the hirer (bedding, car seats, camping table, etc.), make sure these are ready to hand over to avoid disappointment on the day of departure.
Instructions for use:
- It is advisable to leave an instruction manual with emergency contact details in the motorhome. Some hirers may be travelling with a motorhome for the first time, so this is very useful and can often prevent avoidable damage.
Documents:
- If you have taken out separate insurance, you may need certain documents from the hirer. We recommend notifying the hirer at least three days before the start of the booking to avoid last-minute disappointments!
