If a Traveller wants to take your motorhome outside Italy, here’s what you need to know:
Insurance coverage
Goboony Day Insurance: If you use Goboony Day Insurance, coverage is
valid in all European countries.
Personal insurance: If you use your own insurance, check that all coverages
remain valid throughout Europe.
Required documents
Green Card: Although it’s not mandatory within the EU, it’s recommended
to carry it for easier processing in the event of an incident.
The Green Card is mandatory for travel to: Albania, Morocco, Russia,
Iran, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Tunisia, Ukraine, Bosnia & Herzegovina,
North Macedonia, Turkey, Belarus, Montenegro, and Israel.

If a Traveller wants to take your motorhome outside the UK, there are additional requirements:
Insurance coverage
Your motorhome insurance must cover hires outside the UK.
Breakdown Cover is required for travel in Europe.
Required documents
VE103 certificate: If the Traveller plans to leave the UK with your vehicle, they must apply for a VE103 certificate and carry it with them. This is a mandatory document for taking a hired vehicle outside of the UK.
You will need to provide a letter of authority to enable the Traveller to apply for the VE103 certificate. You can find a sample template here:

A letter of authority should include:
- Vehicle owner details: name, address, phone number
- Vehicle details: make, model, registration, insurance policy number
- Traveller details: name, address, phone number, driver licence number
- Booking details: departure date, return date, destination country, any restrictions
- Declaration of consent from the vehicle owner
- Vehicle owner signature
