The GoForm is now completed digitally at both the start and end of the hire period, via the Goboony platform or mobile app. It serves as essential documentation for the condition of the motorhome, ensuring that all key details are recorded and agreed upon by both parties. This record is vital in case of any issues or disputes that arise during or after the hire.
Failure to complete the GoForm correctly can result in difficulties when attributing damages or additional costs after the hire period.
What does the GoForm include?
The GoForm includes:
- Personal details of the Traveller and the Owner
- Key information about the vehicle
- Step-by-step checklists to document:
- Pre-existing damages (with photos)
- Damages upon return (with photos)
- Mileage at pick-up and drop-off
- Fuel level and cleanliness
- Any additional agreements
Where to find the GoForm?
The digital GoForm becomes available once a booking is confirmed (i.e., after payment is made). You can access it through the Goboony website or app:
- Log in to your Goboony account
- Go to the Bookings section on your dashboard or in the app
- Open the relevant booking
- Click Start GoForm (available from the first day of the hire)
To complete the process at the end of the hire period, you will need to:
- Inspect the vehicle together (exterior and interior)
- Record mileage, cleanliness, and any new damages
- Sign the GoForm digitally to complete the process
Both parties should be present for this process to ensure transparency and mutual agreement.
Can I still use the paper GoForm?
Yes—although the GoForm is now completed digitally as the standard process, a paper version is still available as a backup option in certain situations.
You can use the paper GoForm if:
- You or the Traveller experiences technical difficulties accessing the digital version (e.g. no internet, phone issues).
- Either party prefers a physical copy as a safeguard alongside the digital check-in.
- There's a last-minute issue with the app or website that prevents completing the digital form on time.
How to use the paper GoForm
- Download the GoForm from the Documents tab in the booking dashboard.
- Print it and fill it in together with the Traveller at both the start and end of the hire period.
- Take clear photos or scan the signed paper form.
- Upload it to the booking’s Documents tab immediately after signing, especially if the digital version couldn’t be completed.
Important: If a paper GoForm is used instead of the digital version, you must still ensure it’s uploaded promptly to Goboony. This is crucial for insurance and support in case of disputes.
Whenever possible, we recommend completing the GoForm digitally for the most seamless and secure experience.
