In this article, you’ll learn what the GoForm is, why it plays an important role in the hire process, and how to complete it correctly. A fully completed GoForm helps prevent disputes and ensures a smooth experience for both you and the Traveller.
The GoForm is Goboony’s online check-in and check-out tool. It’s used to document the condition of the motorhome at the start and end of each booking, including photos, mileage, cleanliness, damages, and if there are any additional costs that need to be claimed once the booking is complete. Both you and the Traveller complete the online GoForm together and sign it digitally.
Why is it important?
The GoForm is part of the rental agreement and serves as key evidence in case of disputes. If it’s missing or incomplete, it becomes very difficult to assign damage or extra costs to the Traveller.
What does the GoForm include? ⌄
The GoForm contains:
- Personal details of the Owner and the Traveller
- Key vehicle details
- Step-by-step checklists for both check-in and check-out
- Fields to document:
- Pre-existing damage (with photos)
- New damage at drop-off (with photos)
- Mileage at pick-up and drop-off
- Fuel level and cleanliness
- Any additional costs (e.g. fuel, cleaning, late return)
- Any custom agreements between you and the Traveller
Where can I find the GoForm? ⌄
The GoForm is automatically generated once the Traveller has paid and the booking is confirmed. You can access it like this:
- Log in to your Goboony account (web or app)
- Go to Bookings
- Open the relevant booking
- Click Start GoForm (visible from the first hire day)
We recommend using the Goboony app for the smoothest experience.
How do I complete the GoForm? ⌄
The GoForm must be completed twice: once at the start and once at the end of the booking.
Check-in (start of the booking)
- Make sure your device has internet access
- The Traveller starts the GoForm on their device
- You confirm the check-in on your device
- Go through each section of the GoForm together
- Check and record:
- Damage (inside and outside) with photos
- Mileage, fuel level, cleanliness
- Any specific agreements
- Both of you review and sign digitally
Check-out (end of the booking)
- Open the booking in your Goboony app
- Tap Finalise GoForm
- Go through the checklist again with the Traveller
- Record any new damage, extra costs, or issues
- Release the security deposit – or hold it while resolving issues
- Sign the GoForm together
Important:
- The Traveller should stay present until the GoForm is fully completed at check-out.
- Once completed, a confirmation email will be sent and the GoForm will be saved in your booking overview.
Can I use the paper GoForm? ⌄
Yes – if there are technical issues (e.g. no internet, device problems), you can use the paper version of the GoForm as a backup.
How to use the paper GoForm:
- Download it from the Documents tab in the booking
- Print and fill it out together with the Traveller at both check-in and check-out
- Take clear photos or scan the signed form
- Upload it to the Documents tab immediately after each handover
Important: Even when using the paper GoForm, it must be uploaded to Goboony on time.
