This article explains who is responsible for paying repair costs if a technical breakdown happens during your trip: you as the Traveller, the Owner, or both.
Important: This is about mechanical or electrical failures that occur unexpectedly or expectedly in case the Traveller ignores warning signs, or, in other words, breakdowns. If something gets damaged (e.g. in an accident or through misuse), different rules apply.
If something stops working during your trip, don’t worry. The table below shows the most common technical problems and who is responsible. It helps set expectations before and during your journey.
