In this article, you'll learn about the insurance options for hiring out your motorhome on Goboony, why Goboony Day Insurance offers the best protection, and the costs, coverage, and requirements for Goboony Day Insurance in different countries.
When it comes to insurance for your motorhome, you have three options:
-
Goboony Day Insurance
This is the go-to option for most Owners. It covers your motorhome and makes sure it’s protected when hired out. The coverage kicks in automatically when a booking is confirmed and lasts for the entire hire period. Costs and details can vary depending on the country (check the sections below for more info). -
Your own private insurance
Already have hire insurance? No problem! You can use your own insurance, as long as it meets Goboony’s requirements. -
Traveller-arranged Insurance (only in the UK)
If your vehicle does not qualify for Goboony insurance and you do not wish to take out your own policy for bookings, you can request that Travellers purchase their own insurance. We ask that you first verify that your vehicle qualifies for insurance with the external insurance provider and add information to your advert about where the Traveller can purchase insurance from.
