- Verifications are a way to show prospective Travellers that you are a real person
- Verifications prevent fraudulent transactions on the platform
- Verifications are a key way of making your profile more reliable
- Verifications help you in completing your account
You will need to verify your ID (valid driving licence or passport) if you have a personal account and business documents if you have a business account. This allows us to process payments from the bookings to you.
But how do you do that?
- Make sure you are logged in
- Click in the top right of your screen on your name (on PC) or on Menu (smartphone or tablet)
- Click on Account
- Click Trust and Verifications
- You can perform various verifications here
E-mail address: You can verify this by clicking on the link in the confirmation email. You will receive this mail after your registration on Goboony. If you cannot find the email, please check your spam folder and contact the Goboony Support Team.
Phone: You can click the verify phone number button. You will then receive an SMS. Enter the code from that SMS when prompted on the website to complete the verification process.
Identity document: You can fill in the required fields with the information that matches the ID proof that will be uploaded. It is required to upload a clear photo of the front and back of your ID proof.
- Please make sure the photo is fully sharp and readable with all corners present
- Paper driver's licences are not accepted. Please upload your passport in that case.
- Facebook and Google+: You can log in to Facebook or Google+ via the site to verify this.

✔️ No other Goboony users get access to your Facebook or Google account
✔️ No other Goboony users will be able to see your driver's license
