The Goboony payment system is designed to make transferring money between Travellers and Advertisers as simple and reliable as possible. It goes like this:
As soon as an Adverstiser accepts a booking request, a payment request is sent to the Traveller to transfer 10% of the rent. This is followed by further scheduled payments of 15% and 25%.Travellers are given 72 hours to pay the first instalment, by doing so they confirm the booking.
Travellers pay via iDEAL, Visa/Master, or with a credit card. If Travellers do not pay within 72 hours, the booking will be cancelled. The Advertiser can then rent the motorhome to someone else. Once the Traveller has paid, the booking is final. Only from this moment, the cancellation conditions apply!
3 weeks before the key transfer, the Traveller receives a payment request for the remaining 50% of the rent and deposit. If a reservation request falls within 3 weeks for the key transfer, then a payment request for the entire rent (and possibly the deposit) is requested in one go. Goboony releases the money to the Advertisers 24 hours after the key transfer has taken place. It is required to use the Goboony payment system to book a camper. The Traveller also enters into the lease with the Advertiser with the payment.
Our General Terms and Conditions and cancellation conditions are effective when the first payment is made by the Traveller. The payment system is set up in such a way that both the Traveller and the Advertiser are optimally protected. Paying outside the Goboony system is not possible and also not safe! We cannot guarantee the safety of payment if it is made outside this platform. To cover the costs of running these services, Goboony automatically calculates service costs for each transaction, including some government-imposed taxes such as Value Added Tax (VAT).
